Prime Minister Stefan Yanev met the US Ambassador to Bulgaria H. E. Mrs. Herro Mustafa. At their meeting, they discussed matters relating to the current political situation and the prospects thereto.
Prime Minister Yanev highlighted the caretaker cabinet’s priorities and the possibilities for their materialization. During the discussion, the Prime Minister and the Ambassador expressed their shared opinion that the fight against corruption in Bulgaria is of paramount importance.
The meeting between Prime Minister Stefan Yanev and Ambassador Herro Mustafa is a clear sign of the consolidation and promotion of Bulgarian-US relations. Special attention was given to the potential for the intensification of bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including the economy, with a view to the prospects for attracting investment and for improving business interaction. The discussion touched on issues pertaining to energy diversification and the preparations for the upcoming regional meeting of the Three Seas Initiative (3SI).
