Prime Minister Stefan Yanev met H. E. Mrs. Bea ten Tusscher, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Bulgaria. Upon the conclusion of her ambassadorial service in Bulgaria, Prime Minister Yanev expressed gratitude for her contribution to the consolidation and promotion of the relations of friendship and the cooperation between Bulgaria and the Netherlands over the past four years.
At the meeting, Prime Minister Stefan Yanev stressed that the Netherlands is an important EU partner and NATO ally. A strong desire was expressed to continue the active political dialog at all levels between Bulgaria and the Netherlands. Emphasis was laid on the possibility to expand economic cooperation and business relations. A note was made of the interest to attract Dutch companies’ heavier investment and of the need to establish closer ties between Bulgarian and Dutch institutions, organizations and citizens.
