Prime Minister Kiril Petkov meets Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba


Prime Minister Kiril Petkov met with Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba. Their discussion focused on the Russian aggression and the extremely difficult situation for the civilian population in Ukraine.

Dmytro Kuleba thanked Kiril Petkov’s Government for the support and help provided in Bulgaria to any Ukrainian citizen fleeing the war.

Prime Minister Kiril Petkov assured Dmytro Kuleba that Bulgaria will continue to be among the countries that are most friendly to and strongly supporting Ukraine. As heretofore, the Bulgarian institutions will ensure the assistance and care that the Ukrainian refugees need.

Following a tête-à-tête between Petkov and Kuleba, the two delegations met in an extended format with the attendance, on the Bulgarian side, of Deputy Prime Minister Kalina Konstantinova, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodora Genchovska and the Minister of Defense Dragomir Zakov.
