Prime Minister Acad. Nikolai Denkov assigned the coordinating functions for the cabinet’s general policy and interaction with agencies that are under the executive authority of the Council of Ministers.
The Prime Minister’s portfolio comprises: the State Agency for the State Reserve and War-Time Stocks, the State Agency for Refugees, the State Agency for Road Traffic Safety, the State Intelligence Agency (SIA), the State Agency for National Security (SANS), the State Agency for Technical Operations, the State Commission on Information Security, the State Commission on Commodity Exchanges and Markets, the National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency, the National Agency for Vocational Education and Training, the Public Enterprises and Control Agency, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) and the Patent Office.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel is tasked with the cabinet’s interrelations with the Archives State Agency, the Nuclear Regulatory Agency, the State Agency for Metrological and Technical Surveillance and the State Agency for Child Protection.
