PRIME MINISTERS BORISSOV AND YILDIRIM DISCUSSED THE SITUATION ON THE BALKANS

Prime Minister Borissov and his Turkish counterpart Binali Yıldırım held a phone conversation and discussed the current situation on the Balkans. They expressed the opinion that the cooperation between Bulgaria and Turkey are of exceptional importance for the stability and development of the region. The good cooperation in respect to limiting the migration flow to Europe was mentioned and it was underlined that respecting the achieved agreements on decreasing the pressure on the Bulgarian border will continue.

Yıldırım congratulated Borissov on his re-election as leader of the Bulgarian government and personally wished success to the cabinet. He invited him to visit Turkey on June 13 to continue the conversation.

The Turkish Prime Minister conveyed through Boyko Borissov greetings to all Bulgarian Muslim citizens on the occasion of the commencing month of Ramazan.
