Prime Minister Boyko Borissov briefed the Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic on his recent talks to promote the integration of Western Balkan countries.

In a telephone conversation, Borissov pointed out that the topic, which is among the priorities of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU, was consensually supported by the various groups within the European Parliament and by the leaders of the Union. The predominant opinion is that the first stage includes creating infrastructural connectivity and the construction of trans-European transport corridors. In this respect, Prime Minister Borissov pointed out the opportunities that the Berlin process offers, as well as the interest expressed by international financial organizations. The Bulgarian Prime Minister stated that our country will continue to be active in this process and relies on the commitment of the Serbian government.
