PRIME MINISTER BOYKO BORISSOV TALKED WITH HIS GREEK COUNTERPART KYRIAKOS MITSOTAKIS ABOUT THE SITUATION ON THE BORDER

Prime Minister Boyko Borissov discussed during a telephone conversation with his Greek counterpart Kyriakos Mitsotakis the current situation with the illegal migrants on the border.

 

The two heads of government commented on the measures taken by both parties to address the current situation. Boyko Borissov and Kyriakos Mitsotakis agreed that immediate diplomatic steps are needed to stop the flow of migrants to Europe. "A long-term solution to all problems is needed - both with the return of migrants, with the hostilities in Syria and with the humanitarian crisis," the Bulgarian Prime Minister said during the telephone conversation.

 

Prime Minister Boyko Borissov has informed his Greek counterpart Kyriakos Mitsotakis that he will hold a meeting with the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan tomorrow to discuss opportunities for the achievement of security and stability in the region.
