PRIME MINISTER BOYKO BORISSOV SUBMITS HIS CABINET’S RESIGNATION

Pursuant to Art. 111 para 2 of the Constitution of the Republic of Bulgaria, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov submitted the resignation of the Council of Ministers to the newly elected 45^th National Assembly. The Prime Minister’s letter of resignation was lodged with the Speaker of Parliament through the two institutions records offices.

Pursuant to Art. 111, para 3 of the Constitution the Council of Ministers with Prime Minister Borissov will continue to function until the election of a new Council of Ministers and will maintain the continuity in government.
