Prime Minister Boyko Borissov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic  Tomáš Petříček

 

The Bulgarian Prime Minister and the Czech Minister discussed the excellent cooperation between Bulgaria and the Czech Republic, and highlighted the potential for deepening the bilateral relations in trade and in the economic sector. The talks focused on strengthening the partnership in areas such as investment cooperation, tourism, the IT sector, the food industry, green investments in high-efficiency industries and services with medium and high added value.

 

During the meeting Prime Minister Borissov pointed out the good macroeconomic and financial performance of the country - Bulgaria is attractive to foreign investors with its low taxes, stable economic environment and huge fiscal reserve. "We have an extremely good tax environment. Investments and stability - we will make sure taxes are predictable until the end, "said Boyko Borissov.

 

Prime Minister Borissov also noted the serious work of our country on the protection of the external border of the European Union. "Bulgaria is a country that has zero migration due to all the measures taken, in compliance with all European rules," underlined Prime Minister Boyko Borissov. He put an emphasis on the EU-Turkey agreement, which works perfectly. "This is how we securely keep the border and guarantee the serenity of Europe," Prime Minister Borissov said. In his words, the Czech Republic is an important partner of Bulgaria in the EU and an ally in NATO.
