PRIME MINISTER BOYKO BORISSOV EXPRESSES SYMPATHY FOR THE CHINESE PEOPLE IN A LETTER TO PREMIER LI KEQIANG

Prime Minister Boyko Borissov has sent a letter to the Premier of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang, expressing the Bulgarian government's sympathy for the Chinese people. The occasion is the alarming spread of the coronavirus that has led to numerous infected and deceased. "On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria and on my own behalf, I extend our most sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased, wishes for a speedy and complete recovery of the infected, as well as sympathy for the friendly Chinese people at this difficult time," the Bulgarian Prime Minister notes in the letter.

 

Prime Minister Boyko Borissov expresses his hope that the timely and quick actions taken by the Chinese government, the medical community and society to tackle the spread of the virus will soon give result and the crisis will be effectively overcome. In the letter, Prime Minister Borissov points out that timely and consistent measures are of great importance not only to China but also to the international community as a whole.

 

"I assure you of our solidarity with the people of Wuhan and the affected provinces, and I wish the government and people of China success in their efforts to tackle the insidious disease," also notes Prime Minister Boyko Borissov to the Chinese Premier Li Keqiang.
