Prime Minister Boyko Borissov congratulated Boris Johnson on being elected Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Island.
“Bulgaria values highly the dialogue and the cooperation with the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland as a strategic partner and an ally in both bilateral and international context,” Prime Minister Borissov noted in his address to Boris Johnson. Prime Minister Borissov pointed out that the relations between Bulgaria and the United Kingdom are based on centuries-old traditions and this year marks the 140th anniversary from their beginning.
I am certain, that regardless of the challenges, we will preserve and continue to develop our successful cooperation in the interest of our peoples and as a contribution to a more secure and prosperous Europe,” also noted Prime Minister Boyko Borissov in his address to Boris Johnson.
