Today Prime Minister Boyko Borissov will take part in the official inauguration of the new Egyptian Berenice Naval Base on the coast of the Red Sea. At the airport in Cairo on the way to the base, Prime Minister Borissov was accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Mohamed Marzouk Al-Qusair.
Prior to his departure from the Egyptian capital, the Bulgarian Prime Minister left a message in a special book at the royal Koubbeh Palace, where he stayed with his delegation. A part of the delegation is Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Krasimir Karakachanov.
The event at the Berenice Naval Base will be attended by the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah As-Sisi, who personally invited Prime Minister Borissov to participate in the inauguration ceremony. Prime Minister Boyko Borissov was greeted at Berenice by the country's Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly.
