Prime Minister Boyko Borissov sent letters to the Chairman of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang and to the Prime Minister of Nepal KP Sharma Oli, whereby he expressed gratitude for the timely assistance with the organization and implementation of the search and rescue mission in quest for the Bulgarian mountaineer Boyan Petrov.
The Bulgarian Prime Minister highly appreciates the efforts of the Chinese government and institutions, as well as the Nepalese authorities, which facilitated the search mission by air and land. He is particularly grateful to all the people involved in the rescue teams in spite of the extremely severe weather conditions.
