PRIME MINISTER BORISSOV TALKED WITH HIS GREEK COUNTERPART KYRIAKOS MITSOTAKIS

Prime Minister Boyko Borissov had a telephone conversation with the Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. In view of the situation in Syria and the migrant situation, Prime Minister Borissov initiated a conversation with his Greek counterpart so that they could exchange information about the situation and consult as good neighbors and strategic partners, that are Bulgaria and Greece.

 

Prime Minister Borissov and Prime Minister Mitsotakis agreed that problems in the region can only be resolved through joint efforts and dialogue. "Our cooperation is an axis of stability in Southeast Europe. Together we work for stability and prosperity not only of our two countries but also of the whole region," said Prime Minister Boyko Borissov. In the course of the conversation, the Bulgarian Prime Minister underlined that Bulgaria has always insisted on a comprehensive EU mechanism for managing migration.
