28.03.2018

Prime Minister Boyko Borissov had a telephone conversation with Slovenian President Borut Pahor. The two expressed their regret that the EU-Turkey Summit prevented them from meeting during the official visit of President Pahor to Bulgaria but underlined the importance of the open exchange of views that took place in Varna, about which the Bulgarian Prime Minister informed the President.

Borut Pahor congratulated Borissov on his persistence in seeking ways to achieve understanding, agreement, and security in the region. Special attention was paid to the work on building transport, digital, and energy connectivity in the Western Balkans, which would contribute to the development and prospects of the countries.
