The Bulgarian Prime Minister informed Vučić about the progress of the expansion works for the gas transmission infrastructure from the Turkish-Bulgarian to the Bulgarian-Serbian border. Borissov noted that the implementation of the Balkan Stream project will provide an opportunity for natural gas deliveries from various sources at competitive prices for Bulgaria as well as for the neighboring countries and the region of Southeast Europe. For his part, President Vučić also confirmed that the Serbs will also refer to the project as “Balkan Stream.” "These are our gas distribution networks. Both Bulgaria and Serbia have gas hubs and we are exchanging gas in both directions. We are making diversification and the opportunity for everything to travel for the next 20-30-50 possible,” the Bulgarian Prime Minister noted.

"One lot will be ready by the summer, for the other one procedures are currently in motion," said Borissov.
