Prime Minister Boyko Borissov congratulated Sebastian Kurtz on his inauguration as the leader of the new Austrian government.
In his congratulatory address to Kurz, Prime Minister Borissov put an emphasis on the excellent bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Austria and the active political dialogue at all levels. "Austria is traditionally an important political and economic partner of Bulgaria. Our two countries are developing constructive cooperation and have close positions on a number of important issues on the agenda of the European Union," the Bulgarian Prime Minister also noted.
Prime Minister Borissov expresses confidence that within the framework of Sebastian Kurz's second term as a Federal Chancellor, Bulgaria and Austria will continue to develop their friendly relations and to work together on a number of topics, including the European perspective of the Western Balkans.
