PRIME MINISTER BORISSOV AND THE DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER OF SINGAPORE DISCUSSED THE POSSIBILITIES FOR DEEPENING BILATERAL COOPERATION

Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam discussed the possibilities for deepening the political and economic cooperation between the two countries.

 

During the meeting, a desire was expressed for enhancing the high-level dialogue, which would contribute to strengthening the partnership in trade, transport, and technology transfer. “Bulgaria is interested in attracting investments, especially in the development of information and communication technologies, electronics, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals,” said the Bulgarian Prime Minister and pointed out that Bulgaria offers extremely favorable investment conditions.

 

Boyko Borissov and Tharman Shanmugaratnam agreed that there is a potential for strengthening the cooperation in the fields of education, culture, environment, and tourism. They also reached consensus on continuing to further develop the relations between the two countries through exchange of delegations and a business delegation.
