CROWN PRINCE MOHAMED BIN SALMAN AL-SAUD TO PRIME MINISTER BORISOV: YOUR VISIT WILL BEAR REAL RESULTS

Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al-Saud visited Prime Minister Boyko Borissov at King Saud's Residence, where the Bulgarian Prime Minister was accommodated during his visit. The talks took place after Borissov's meeting with King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud as a confirmation of the agreements attained. “I promise that your visit will bear real results. We are known to keep our promises,” said Mohammad bin Salman al-Saud, who is also First Vice-Prime Minister and Minister of Defence.

 

The Prime Minister, the Crown Prince and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubier, who also held a meeting with Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, praised the launched high level political dialogue and defined it as a new stage in the bilateral relations. They expressed the expectation that the agreements signed today - to avoid double taxation and on cooperation in the fields of agriculture, livestock, and fisheries - will bring practical results for both sides. According to Mohammed bin Salman Al-Saud, the reforms that have begun in Saudi Arabia provide opportunities for partner countries of the Kingdom to implement projects in the fields of tourism, the economy, agriculture, and innovation. He indicated that the business contacts between the two countries will be encouraged, resulting in a deepening of relations at all levels and the development of Bulgaria and Saudi Arabia.

 

During the conversation, an exchange of views took place on the situation in the Gulf region, on the Balkans, the migrant crisis in Europe, and the priorities of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU. It was highlighted that Bulgaria is a country of ethnic tolerance, where every person, regardless of their religious affiliation, is provided with opportunities for development.
