Prime Minister Borissov received congratulations from the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde on the occasion of his appointment as Prime Minister.
In her congratulatory letter to the Prime Minister, Lagarde notes that she looks forward to continuing the very fruitful and effective cooperation that the IMF has enjoyed with the Bulgarian authorities and personally with Prime Minister Borissov during his previous terms in office.
“Your leadership remains critical in ensuring continued prosperity for Bulgaria by safeguarding fiscal sustainability and supporting growth and investment,” adds Christine Lagarde.
