The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Rossen Jeliazkov and the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport of Greece Kostas Karamanlis have signed an Agreement on regulation of railway cross-border traffic. This will facilitate and accelerate the crossing of the railway border checkpoints between the two countries by regulating the related procedures. With the entry into force of the agreement, European railway companies will receive equal conditions for cross-border services. The document is an important step towards the full integration of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T).

Tourism Minister Nikolina Angelkova and her Greek counterpart Harry Theoharis signed a Joint Statement by the Ministers of Tourism of the Hellenic Republic and the Republic of Bulgaria on the occasion of the Fourth High Level Cooperation Council. The two institutions will encourage efforts by the private sector in their countries - hotel associations, specialized chambers, national associations of tour operators and travel agents, start-ups, etc., to actively cooperate and implement joint initiatives, as well as joint activities to promote products for distant markets. The countries will work to prepare and hold joint tourism events to mark the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Greece. The readiness for cooperation in the sub-sectors of tourism, which are of special interest - cultural, religious, congress, winter, sea, ecotourism, etc., with a focus on the principles of their sustainable development, is also declared. The document states that each party will set up a working group to monitor the progress of the areas under the Joint Action Program on Tourism for the period 2020-2022.
