BORISSOV, ZAEV AND ZVIZDIK DISCUSSED COOPERATION ON THE BALKANS

The heads of government of Bulgaria, the Republic of Macedonia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina Boyko Borissov, Zoran Zaev, and Denis Zvizdic discussed concrete infrastructure projects in the region of theWestern Balkans. The meeting, which took place after the commemoration ceremony in Skopje on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the deportation of Jews from the territory of the Republic of Macedonia, was also attended by Romanian Deputy Prime Minister Ana Birchall and Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz.

 

During the talks, the utmost importance of the infrastructure connectivity of the countries in the region was highlighted, as well as the fact that the construction of the projects will contribute to the overall European economic development. “Each project serves to the benefit of any Balkan as well as any European country,” said the Bulgarian Prime Minister.

 

Prime Minister Zoran Zaev thanked the Bulgarian Prime Minister for his attendance at today's commemorative ceremony in Skopje and for the active policy of the Bulgarian government on the priority topic of integration of the Western Balkan countries.
