Ensuring equal access to medicines for all citizens of the European Union is a matter of priority both for Bulgaria and the Netherlands, pointed out Prime Ministers Boyko Borissov and Mark Rutte. In a phone conversation, the two discussed the future steps of the national agencies for medicines of the two countries in this respect. “The timely provision of medication is life-saving and we, as prime ministers, want to make sure that there is a responsible approach to this subject at the highest level and maximum efforts are made in this direction,” the two Prime Ministers agreed.
Boyko Borissov and Mark Rutte will continue the talks in this field within the framework of the Summit on social affairs, which will take place in Göteborg.
