BOYKO BORISSOV: BULGARIA WILL CONTINUE TO WORK ACTIVELY FOR THE EUROPEAN FUTURE OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

Bulgaria will remain an active advocate for guaranteeing the European future of the countries from the Western Balkans also during the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, said Prime Minister Boyko Borissov at a meeting with the current Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mladen Ivanic. Borissov expressed his conviction that Bosnia and Herzegovina will continue to progress on the path of Euro-Atlantic integration, which is the only guarantee for security in the region.

 

Prime Minister Boyko Borissov pointed out the role of each country from the Balkans for maintaining the peace and stability in this part of the continent, as well as in entire Europe. He noted that the more active cooperation between the institutions in Bulgaria and Bosnia and Herzegovina will lead to more practical success in this respect, as well as in the international efforts for counteracting radicalization and terrorism.

 

Borissov and Ivanic discussed also the development of bilateral relations, thereby underlining the big potential they have. It was also pointed out that the carrying out of a common business forum will reveal opportunities for partnerships that are to the benefit of both countries.
