Georgi Tahov
Georgi Tahov has a PhD in economics, specialisation in finance, money circulation, credit and insurance. He also holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Control from the "D. А. Tsenov" Academy of Economics in Svishtov, Law Degree from St.St. Kiril and Methodius, University in Veliko Tarnovo, and in Strategic Leadership and Management of Security and Public Order from the Academy of the Ministry of Interior. He specialized in economics and industrial management in Germany.
Georgi Tahov has long-standing management experience in the National Revenue Agency.
Since 2022 he held the position of Executive Director of the State Fund Agriculture. In April 2024, he was appointed caretaker Minister of Agriculture and Food in both cabinets with Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev.
Fluent in German and English.
