Georgi Gvozdeykov holds a master's degree in aeronautical engineering and technology from the "Georgi Benkovski" Air Force Academy in Dolna Mitropolia, where he is currently a doctoral student.
In June 2023, he was appointed Minister of Transport and Communications. In the period August 2022 - February 2023 he was Executive Director of Bulgaria Heli Med Service. He was Member of Parliament in the 47th National Assembly and Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Transport and Communications.
From 2018 to 2021, Eng. Georgi Gvozdeykov worked at DG Civil Aviation Administration. He was Secretary General of the Bulgarian Automobile Sports Federation. He was a professional motor racing driver for over 13 years. А Champion of Bulgaria for 2003 and the Adriatic Cup winner.
