When intergovernmental relations are good - investment intentions, the terrain, its preparation, the subsequent possibility to develop these investments directly depends on local authorities. This was stated by Prime Minister Boyko Borissov at the opening of the Fourth Meeting of Local Leaders of the ‘16 + 1’ Initiative, held in Sofia under the motto "Global Thinking, Local Action". He stressed that local authorities are the engines for investment and added that Bulgaria has tens of twin cities with China.
The Prime Minister welcomed the participants in the Fourth Meeting of Local Leaders of the "16 + 1" Initiative and wished success to the forum. "Next year, we celebrate 70 years of diplomatic relations with China, so we will have more occasions for meetings and conversations. I wish the local authorities success at the business forum today, as our dear guest, Cao Jianming said, "China-Bulgaria relations have never been better”, added Prime Minister Borissov.
