PRIME MINISTER BORISSOV MET WITH THE MINISTER FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA RETNO MARSUDI

Bulgaria values its friendly relations with Indonesia, you are a priority partner for us in Southeast Asia. This was stated by Prime Minister Boyko Borissov during his meeting with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Retno Marsudi. The Prime Minister put an emphasis on the fact that this is the first visit of an Indonesian foreign minister in 25 years and expressed his confidence that the current visit will give further incentive for the development of the bilateral relations.

 

According to Prime Minister Borissov, there are a number of areas where there is potential for more active cooperation. The Prime Minister emphasized trade and investment, tourism and infrastructure. Borissov was certain that cooperation in the fields of education and high technology is also of mutual interest for both countries.

 

 Prime Minister Boyko Borissov expressed his hope that after yesterday's fruitful meeting of Minister Marsudi with the Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva, today's Bulgarian-Indonesian business forum with the participation of Minister Emil Karanikolov will give an additional incentive to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
