PRIME MINISTER BOYKO BORISSOV MET WITH THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE OF COUNSELLORS OF THE MOROCCAN PARLIAMENT

The friendly relations between Bulgaria and Morocco are in good condition and there are prospects for their further development, noted Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and the Speaker of the House of Counsellor (the upper chamber) of the Moroccan Parliament Abdel Hakim Ben Shamash during their meeting.

 

Borissov and Ben Shamash expressed satisfaction with the intensification of contacts in the recent years, including between the parliaments of the two countries.

 

"Morocco is one of the key factors for stability in the region. The model chosen and consistently followed by your country for modernization and democratization can be a role-model for the development of other countries in the region and in the Arab world," Prime Minister Boyko Borissov told the Speaker of the upper house of the Moroccan Parliament Abdel Hakim Ben Shamash.

 

During the conversation, the two discussed Morocco's international and regional role and position, focusing on the country's efforts to strengthen the security and stability on the African continent.
